The Rosen Plaza Hotel Now Offers
Secure Off-site Airport Check-in

ORLANDO, Fla. (July 2004) — The Rosen Plaza Hotel has unveiled an innovative off-site airport check-in service that it is offering called BAGS Inc. (Baggage Airline Guest Services). Approved by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration, BAGS allows guests to obtain their boarding passes and check bags at the hotel for a small fee. Bags are transferred to a secure vehicle, routed to the airport, and then scanned by TSA representatives. The Rosen Plaza’s sister property, Rosen Centre, was the first hotel in the United States to introduce the BAGS service last year.

BAGS improves passenger processing at the airport, and serves as an advantage to Rosen Plaza guests through increased convenience and comfort, reduced traffic to the airport and a more secure method of air travel. BAGS allows travelers to obtain their boarding passes, baggage receipts and VIP carry-on privileges at the Rosen Plaza Hotel for a $10 fee, per person (up to three bags). Baggage can be checked as early as 12 hours and as late as two and a half hours before departure time. Participating airlines include American, Delta, Continental and Song.

“This is an outstanding convenience for our guests. Those with late departures and early hotel check-out times will no longer need to check their bags and transport them from one destination to the next,” said Victoria Hall, Rosen Plaza’s Director of Sales and Marketing.
